Statement of Faith

WE BELIEVE the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God (2 Tim 3:16). The Bible not only contains the Word of God, the Bible is the Word of God.

WE BELIEVE in the supernatural act of the incarnation in which God became flesh in the person commonly known in the English Scriptures as Jesus Christ (John 1:14). Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary as the only begotten Son of God, yet as the Word made flesh, He possesses all the divine attributes and qualities of Deity. Therefore, we believe Jesus Christ is God. (Colossians 1:13-20; Hebrews 1:1-3; John 1:1).

What must we do to be saved?

  1. REPENT

In the New Testament, to ‘repent’ means to ‘make a change in the frame of mind, and to reform’. While sin is the result of a person pleasing himself in what he does, the sinner coming to God in repentance admits his total inability to please God. The Bible tells us that “there is none righteous ” (Romans 3:10).

Baptism of the Holy Ghost

“Truly, truly I say to you, unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:3)

Jesus said ‘…how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy spirit to those who ask Him!’ (Luke 11:13)

The Holy Spirit gives the ‘spiritual new birth’ or ‘born again’ experience. (John 3:1-8 John 7:37-39)

Receiving the Holy Spirit gives life-changing power enabling you to become a witness of Jesus. (Acts 1:8)
